I'm just wondering why in the Catholic schools they're allowed to put religious artifacts in the hallway and I live in a senior housing and they won't let us put any religious artifacts and because of that I'm ashamed to get a preacher to come in to hold service. This isn't right. The atheists are running this country.
Glad to see the Quarrier Diner going out of business. When you go in and the cheapest thing on the menu is a hot dog for $9, Charleston could not afford those high prices.
To the venter talking about two years of recruiting based upon success by Bobby Huggins, that recruiting was based on the team playing in the Big East, not the Big 12, so give him a couple of years to recruit players to play that style of ball and then we'll see winning coming back.
With the new bill that was passed for education reform on Monday, West Virginia just lost another science teacher. I've worked 17 years in this system, and I want out.
This is a plea to cat lovers. If anyone knows what happened to Willie, a solid white, neutered, male cat with gold eyes, please write in. He is missing from the Piccadilly Street area in Charleston. He was such a nice cat. We want to know if he has been seen injured or was found dead. Not knowing is breaking everyone's hearts. Thank you.
Those in Washington believe that your money is their money. They decide how much you can keep. When they have no other source for revenue, they will tax your bank account, as Cyprus is attempting to do at the moment.
I clean up my property on Campbells Creek. Why should I have to clean up other people's who throw theirs in the creek? I guess I stepped on some toes.
The person who saw the TV show "Bloopers" and asked "What kind of sick individuals enjoy watching people get hurt?" apparently has never watched "America's Funniest Home Videos."
Just read that with the current rate of inflation a retired person loses 80 percent of his purchasing power every 10 years. Retire at 65 -- live to be 85 -- you do the math.
Unbelievable. No White House tours, but you can have hundreds of people at the White House for an Easter Egg Hunt. Pathetic decisions from the president.
