Why is this country in a mess? Just do an easy poll. People know who gets voted off Dancing with the Stars or American Idol, and who the gay basketball player is. They know who drives what in NASCAR. But they won't have a clue who or what Fast and Furious is or Benghazi.
Nice to see on the news how our CIA has been giving millions of dollars to Mr. Karzai in $300,000 increments. And all this while our Social Security system goes down the tube. Fantastic leadership!
Wow. Obama took time out of his busy schedule to call the NBA player for announcing he was gay but a few months ago couldn't take time from his re-election campaign to call up some help for the people in Benghazi.
How does one get to read the financial statements from South Charleston's city government? Rumor has it that the budget is greater than $25 million.
Millions of Iraqis are living better lives today after we put Saddam Hussein out of power. Their new government has some bugs to be worked out but is better than what they had. The "4,500 died for nothing" comment is pretty much the same as spitting on the graves of those heroes.
So now we wildly celebrate the coming out of a professional athlete? It's sometimes hard to fathom just how low we have sunk.
The person who said they couldn't buy fully automatic weapons growing up in the '50s needs to do his or her homework before making gun comments. Pretty obvious they don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to guns.
Not today, Joe. What he seems to never talk about is that his "background-check amendment" is part of a larger bill. Does that mean he is also supporting the rest of the bill?
To the reader complaining about President Obama flying around the country: Did you forget about President Bush flying to Crawford, Texas, nearly every weekend to escape his "hard life" in Washington, D.C.? Just asking.
The Wall Street Journal says Obama was elected because he was the furthest thing from George W. Bush. They now share the same approval rating of 47 percent. That's interesting as Mr. Bush is now popular because he is not President Obama.
