The IRS should get a medal for being alert in the performance of their job. The tax-exempt status should be checked more deeply with names like "Tea Party" and "Patriots." The Republicans loved it when the attorney general targeted Democrats in the Bush years.
Thankfully, West Virginia schools don't have to worry about tornadoes. But our kids would be much safer if we could keep religious fanatics and poor administrators out of the school systems too.
Wonder how the NRA and the right-wing nuts are going to try to pin the deadly Oklahoma tornado on President Obama? They'll sure try.
Why don't people complain about how we are a fascist country, ruled by corporations and the rich, instead of crying about how President Obama is trying to make us a socialist country? I much prefer the government helping average Americans vs. bowing down to corporations and the rich.
What would the American government say if the Russian government got caught spying on Russian journalists? What would The Charleston Gazette have said if George W. Bush had done it?
I am publicly thanking the nursing staff at CAMC Memorial on the second floor east. They did a fantastic job caring for my girlfriend after she suffered a crippling stroke. With that said, the resident physicians were poorly trained and let her suffer with extreme headache pain.
George Orwell's "1984" is here now, 29 years late.
Nick Casey has always been a Manchin puppet. Now he wants to go to Congress. Remember to never vote for a lobbyist-turned-politician. He will spend all his efforts for the same one who paid him.
Taxes, taxes, taxes. Is that all these politicians in West Virginia knows? They're going to tax their self out of office if they ain't careful.
These three scandals that aren't going anywhere are only giving the Republicans more and more excuse to not work with the president and not repair our highways and bridges. This is disgraceful. Why aren't the Republicans trying to work with the president?
Let's quit worrying about individual obesity and take the big picture and take the government obesity. They're the ones that need to trim down.
Apparently the plaintiff lawyer in the tobacco case did not show the jury the full-page ads in Life magazine where the tobacco companies were extolling the benefits. I'm old enough to remember them.
President Obama is gifted in at least one area: getting likeminded people to serve with him. Incompetent and corrupt.
I agree with the person that wrote in this morning about channel 8. They come and go like hopscotch. Why don't they tell us who the new ones are and where the old ones went? That's my favorite channel, but I'm getting aggravated.
