The West Virginia Statehouse in Wheeling is owned by the state of West Virginia but it is closed Sundays. That's a travesty. Tourists come in all times, seven days a week. It's amazing to me that Twin Falls State Park, Watoga State Park and others can be open seven days a week, but not the historical sites.
I am a person who is going to speak out against gay marriage. ... God created marriage between a man and a woman because they can procreate.
Why do West Virginians refuse to see Jay Rockefeller for what he really is? All they see is the name Rockefeller. Other rich persons, our state newspapers chew them up and spit them out. Could it be their political affiliation?
Thanks to Sen. Manchin for his firm stand about background checks for gun purchases, the Berretta company is unfortunately making a decision not to come. We can handle that. Thanks anyway, Sen. Manchin.
Life is too short to get all upset about people getting in the express lines at Kroger. Read the newspapers. There's more important things going on.
To the reader who presumes to speak for God's judgment, neither you nor I nor any other human can predict God's judgment. Thanks just the same.
Poor, poor Paula Deen. You know she really didn't have to confess her sins on national TV.
Sticking your head in the sand first requires you to get on your knees and bow your head.
Mr. Zimmerman followed the Martin boy, being a cop-wannabe and got caught up in his vigilante role. Original reports were that he shot the kid in the back.
Shame on these businesses and Food Network for treating Paula Deen in this awful manner that they're treating her. If they're going to put her in jail they better make it a pretty big jail. I'd like to see which one of them hasn't said something they wish they hadn't.
