I see the new cell and text phone law goes into effect. I think it's a big joke because the police are not going to enforce it. They haven't been.
Joey Holland does not have the right to tell his employees that they can't have female reproduction insurance or the morning-after pill. They pay for their insurance. He pays a part of it, but they pay the majority of it. There's no such thing as free insurance.
This is in support of Paula Deen. Thirty years ago was a different time in the United States than what it is now. I don't know a person alive that didn't make a mistake or said something they didn't mean. I think they should let bygones be bygones. She apologized.
Think the money should go to raising teachers' salaries and feeding hungry kids? Wow. So much for American exceptionalism.
Beretta doesn't have a problem selling guns to criminals, the mentally ill, or even terrorists in our country. This is their stand while they are the supplier of handguns to our military. ... Don't we have a U.S. manufacturer that could supply our military?
I would like to commend both newspapers, the Charleston Daily Mail and the Charleston Gazette for such interesting reporting July 5. I couldn't stop reading!
Elk and deer are not the same thing. The DNR is planning on stocking elk. That has nothing to do with the deer eating the flowers in your garden. I have several deer eating my flowers too. I haven't seen a single elk.
The writing is on the wall. The coal economy is over. Coal has left a path of destruction and poverty wherever it's been mined. It's polluted our water, trashed our mountains, left many dead, sick, and broken people, and took the money and ran. It's time to wake up.
I applaud Joey Holland for standing up for what is right and also standing up to Barack Obama. If all of the people in this country who oppose and despise Obama would simply stand up to him we could possibly rid ourselves of him and his policies.
Pretty obvious a lot of people commenting on the Zimmerman trial aren't actually following it. Like Obama's kool-aid drinkers they're still repeating rumors from a year ago and ignoring sworn testimony that's proving most of the rumors false.
I would like to thank the young couple who stopped along Main Avenue on Sunday to help my parents. My father had fallen off a step and broke his neck. My mother told me these nice people waited with her and my father until the ambulance came. God bless you.
