If we let the wealthy have more tax breaks, they will hire thousands more workers. Really? The only people hired will be the ones hired to count the money in the banks.
Maybe the leaders of that church do care but are just tired of getting attacked all of the time by stiff-necked, hard-hearted people who want to listen to every rumor that comes down the pike.
Well, Gov. Tomblin, you've fixed Coonskin Park real good now. The usage will go way down, and as far as I'm concerned I won't be going there anymore.
I commend Delegate Stephen Skinner, of Jefferson County. I appreciate him helping us find out what is going on in these crisis centers. I know they aren't aboveboard and I wish we had a man like him in Putnam County. I am very proud of him.
History shows that the rich have slaves to do their work, making the rich more wealthy. That is the reason humane legislators passed the minimum-wage bill. They are still at poverty level so the rich can still buy another yacht and eat, drink and be merry.
Pete Thaw seems to be the only member of the board with common sense. I wish he would check into the payroll department at Kanawha County Schools. It needs to be revamped or they need to be retrained.

I find it very interesting that our public officials have been able to secure funding for a new bridge at Coonskin Park, but people of the western end of the valley have been severely inconvenienced and taken advantage of during the rebuilding of the Nitro-St. Albans Bridge. Remember who is responsible for this atrocity in the next election.
I pay taxes also, and if you take proper care of your cats there should not be an issue.
