The militant rebels in Syria are linked to the al-Qaida suicidal terrorists who "deem America the Great Satan." We should be helping Assad wipe them out!
I'm not totally sold on Dana Holgorsen. But we cannot forget, he is trying to play catch-up after Bill Stewart's inept leadership and lack of bringing in big-time recruits. The few top guys that came in under Stewart's watch came from Doc Holliday.
Think before you post. It's not that complicated. The dog swims are held at the end of the season before the pools are shut down. The water will be replaced before anybody swims in it again next season. Duh.
Do the wild-animal lovers realize without hunters thinning the herd, their precious animals would overpopulate, die of starvation, cause property damage and cause more auto accidents?
Ms. Kunkel's column on Syria was excellent.
The day that Bill Stewart took over the WVU football program we went from a serious contender to a pretender. I liked Stewart as a person, but he damaged the WVU program for years to come. And let's not also forget that he won with Rich Rodriguez's players.
I've looked at most of the videos and pictures of the "chemical weapons" attack. I haven't seen a thing that would convince me one way or another who did what to whom. It's debatable if the videos are even real and not some propaganda film.
To the reader who said more fans will be going to Huntington than to Morgantown this season. I'm sorry, but WVU is superior to Marshall in every aspect of college football. Better facilities, larger fan base -- most of all, more wins. The Mountaineers are king of the state. Sorry.
Wow! Thank you, Father Sadie, for telling us Catholic women how lucky we are here in the 15th century.
