It is amazing the number of useful idiots out there.
Let the citizens of Nitro vote on spending the million dollars that Casebolt wants to spend up near the dog track. The city itself is in bad shape. The streets are bad and need paved. Clean up Nitro before you spend money out at the marketplace.
Will the school board please increase my homestead tax exemption? It is the only way I can pay for this tremendous levy.
Vote "no" on the levy. The state Board of Education spends more than 43 other states per student. It has some of the worst schools in the nation. Utah spends the least per student and has some of the best schools in the nation.
Frankly, I don't care how much someone in another part of the country pays for property taxes. All I know is I'm paying too much right now. The school system and the libraries have plenty of money. They just need to learn to spend it more wisely.
According to what I read in the paper, Nitro City Treasurer John Young doesn't know what he is doing. He has to pay $12,000 in back payroll taxes. Why should the citizens pay for his negligence? He should have to repay it out of his own pocket.
The company that put the train wreck together for the Affordable Care Act is CGI, a Canadian company. They built the website and the senior vice president is Toni Towns-Whitley, who was a Princeton classmate of Michelle Obama. Could there be a connection or a coincidence there? I'm just asking, since we spent $500 million on it. A U.S. company couldn't have done it? Come on.
I don't believe people are biased against President Obama. It is that he has been president for five years and we feel the economy should be getting better instead of worse.
Now they have started on Julianne Hough that she went to a party and had her face painted black. Now, how many times have you seen that at Halloween?
I'm more than a little confused. This government is taking every opportunity to remove God or any reference to him, yet the president ends his speeches with "God bless." He can't have it both ways.
Are other television viewers as fed up with commercials as I am? I've worn my finger out hitting the mute button.
