I got a book showing how to make greeting cards. The index listed cards for Kwanzaa and Hanukkah, but no Christmas cards. Instead it mentioned cards for "Season's Greetings," "Joy," "Believe," "Happy Holidays," "Deck the Halls" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Surely they could spell Christmas but intended to leave it out.
How long has it been since you heard someone admit they voted for Obama?
Once again the Affordable Care Act people here in West Virginia are feeding us disinformation. They said in the paper that only 8,600 people had received letters in the state saying their insurance was going to drop. Well, I just listened to the radio and one man of one insurance company said they had sent out over 8,000 letters from just his insurance company.
Those who supported the school levy said that kids will have to pay to play sports. Well, I've been paying for the last five years for uniforms and shoes in some form. Can I get a refund now?
I want to know why the president picks 12:30 p.m. to have his news conference. It is a waste of time for Americans to listen to him. He doesn't make a bit of sense.
One thing the Democrats can absolutely bank on is that the thousands of us who have had our insurance doubled or tripled or we have just plain lost our insurance will be voting again next year.
A Sioux Falls, S.D., school board voted against students reciting the Pledge of Allegiance because one school board member said there isn't enough time in the school day. It should be optional.
Here it is, days after the George Washington soccer championship. Color pictures and write-ups are still in the paper. The favoritism for the school is so obvious. Do you think the students don't know the difference? What is wrong with this picture?
Women are perceptive. You have to be to raise kids. If you aren't, they will outsmart you every time.
Of course there were only 198 people in West Virginia who enrolled in the Affordable Care Act. There are only 198 people who know how to use the computer in the state of West Virginia.
