The three big news agencies have little to say about the radiation falling on the U.S. West Virginia is getting its share. The dog and pony show continues that is supposed to inform the public of things really important. I'll be doggone.
I second the comment about the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot. I quit playing Mega Millions and quit playing the Powerball when the Powerball doubled the cost of playing. I'll make my millions the right way -- by working hard the American way.
It seems that the only elected official to say anything about the way coal miners with black lung are treated is Jay Rockefeller. Where are you Shelley, David, Joe, Nick Joe? Oh, did someone say that they are hunkered down waiting to see which way the political wind will blow?
The C-130s have probably been flying longer than you have lived in Charleston. The fumes smell like freedom to me. If you don't like it, get out of the U.S.
Some in Congress are upset about the agreement with Iran because Bibi Netanyahu has ordered them to be upset.
To the reader about coyote hunting season and all I have to do is kill all I see. I'd like to know what he'd use in the city of Charleston as we're not allowed to fire a weapon in city limits. Are we supposed to kill them with kindness?

It's hard to believe the kind of rude laziness the state puts up with from its own employees. There's no way they could get a job and keep it anywhere else. Something needs to be done to straighten up their act. There's no way they should complain about the money they make.
Senate Democrats have reached a new low. President Obama has hoodwinked them into changing the rules as they go to help protect his "legacy." Actually, his legacy will be remembered as one of lies, deceit and corruption. Hats off to Joe Manchin and the other Democrats who voted for the people, rather than party.
The recent flyer from the U.S. Postal Service advertising their "holiday stamps" was very offensive to me as a Christian. They had a stamp representing Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, but nothing representing Christianity. After all, Christ is the reason we even celebrate this season.Oh my gosh. The Gazette sportswriters are going to have to write about Capital now that GW is bye-bye. Capital, along with other high schools, has gotten virtually no mention or photos. Yes, I have noticed the partiality towards GW, too.
