The pope points out that the Republican trickle down theory of economics not only doesn't work, but it's anti-Christian. Robert Reich points out that Republicans won't pass a jobs bill because unemployment keeps income inequality high and the stock market up, thus making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
The Kmart commercial is vulgar and nasty. It just goes to show what a sick society we live in. Those of you who think it is funny, shame on you!

Mr. Ehman's letter to Readers' Forum on Friday surely hit the nail on the head. I would hope, as does Mr. Ehman, that Mr. Obama will at last show some class and think not only of the folks who put him in office, but the rest of us, also.
