The comic strip, Judge Parker, doesn't seem to make any sense to me. I can't follow the plot.
It is amazing to me when we are shown pictures on TV of the high water, or snowy roads, the speed these dummies travel at. Any question why they are stranded in high water or end up in a ditch?

Do the people blaming the GOP for blocking the Democrats in Congress realize the Democrats control the Senate? Yes, the GOP is jamming up the House but it's the Democrats doing the exact same thing in the Senate. Both parties are to blame for the mess in D.C.
State Sen. Evan Jenkins supported Kay Goodwin and Randall Reid-Smith in their effort to put a cafe in the Archives reading room. We don't need nuts like that in Congress.
Walmart has undermined the U.S. economy. They sell products that are almost all made cheaply overseas. They pay their employees less than a living wage. They squeeze out all the locally operated stores. Then they put actors on TV telling everyone how great it is to work there.
Every West Virginian who voted for George W. Bush and against President Obama ought to read the Gazette's op-ed article in Sunday's Perspective page written by Perry Mann and titled, "Why West Virginia went from blue to red." In a few short paragraphs Mann clearly states what has gone wrong in our state and in our nation.
