If possible try to leave something for your newspaper delivery person. They work every day to get the papers delivered, 365 days a year, rain, sunshine or snow. Yes Republicans are more paranoid about things than Dems. Republicans are smart enough not to believe the lies coming out of D.C. Dems will believe anything.
There have been letters and columns recently trying to explain why West Virginia is becoming a red state. The common theme in all of the writings is that West Virginians are dumb. What if he didn't believe in blood transfusions -- should he be able to deny them to his employees and their families? What if his religion said prayer was the way to cure medical problems? Then he wouldn't have to provide any health insurance to his employees.
I always thought that the Chamber of Commerce was a civic organization, but I see that they are paying for ads for Republican candidates. So I've been to my last Chamber event.West Virginians are horrified, horrified I tell you, to learn that Sarah Brady doesn't think much of our state.
