The 300,000 citizens should demand we have a watershed built in Charleston. Anything less is not acceptable. That way we would not have to get our water from the toxic river. Surely the poor animals that have to drink from that will be impacted. This was both inept and an assault on us as people.
I'd like to thank you folks for providing this important platform for people in the state to voice our concerns.
It's become obvious that the coal companies will not be happy until they ruin every inch of beautiful West Virginia, until they pollute it so much that it will be a barren land and sicken all its residents. All you officials are so inept, you should be fired. If I had performed my job that way, I wouldn't have a job.
Jimmy Gianato makes me feel that my homeland is secure. How about you?
A lot of drivers must have gotten their license from a bubblegum machine. They drive in the fast lane on the left and won't move over to the slow lane on the right. Plus no one uses their signal lights anymore.
This is to Patriot Coal: If it's going to cost you too much to pay the fine and fix the spill you caused into the Elk, why don't you just go bankrupt again like you did when you earlier dumped all us workers and cheated us out of our benefits?
We are losing our freedom every day. When are we people going to stand up against these pinheaded politicians and fight back?
If all the hearings indicate they couldn't get one of the six people to say the water is safe, then maybe the PSC needs to step in and tell West Virginia American Water that they can't sell it or bill for all the water they are billing for.
