CHARLESTON, W.Va. --The Great Outdoors Marine in Lavalette was recently selected as one of Boating Industry's Top 100 Boat Dealers. It was in the running against 8,000 dealers in North America. The award was presented to The Great Outdoors Marine at the Marine Dealer Conference and Expo in Orlando last month.

The Top 100 Award is designed to recognize the best of the best among boat dealers who are unsurpassed in overall business operations, facilities, customer service, marketing and professionalism.

A non-partisan panel judged the dealers. The panelists included a cross-section of financial companies, boat manufacturers, vendors and engine manufacturers.

The Great Outdoors Marine is located just outside of Huntington and is owned and operated by Phil and Diane Daniel. The Great Outdoors Marine has been in business since 1991, and has 16 employees. It is the largest marine dealer in West Virginia.
