In Season

Big game

  • White-tailed deer may be hunted with archery equipment through Dec. 31. The bag limit is up to two deer per day.
  • Black bears may be hunted with archery equipment through Nov. 23. The bag limit is up to two bears per season.
  • Small game

  • Squirrels may be hunted through Jan. 31. The bag limit is six squirrels a day.
  • Upland birds

  • Sora and Virginia rails may be hunted through Nov. 2. The bag limit is 25 rails a day.
  • Common snipes may be hunted through Dec. 7. The bag limit is eight snipes a day.
  • Waterfowl

  • Ducks may be hunted through Oct. 12. The bag limit is six ducks a day.
  • Canada geese may be hunted through Oct. 26. The bag limit is five geese a day.
