CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources has published a poster featuring paintings of game fish found in the Mountain State.
Officials say the new West Virginia Sport Fish Identification Poster is available either as a printed poster or online at the agency's website. The color poster features warm-water and cold-water fish species.
Agency director Frank Jezioro says the poster was published in response to many outdoor enthusiasts who have been asking for something similar for a while. The fish illustrations have been printed on the back of fishing regulations for years, but Jezioro says the images on the poster are much larger and clearer.
Printed posters are available at the agency's district offices and at many state parks, or online at www.wvdnr.gov.
