GRAFTON, W.Va. -- A free youth fishing derby aimed at keeping children away from drugs will also feature a magic show, martial-arts exhibition and displays about the outdoors.
Tygart Lake State Park, near Grafton, is hosting the "Get Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs" event June 9 and 10.
Exhibits and other activities will run from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. They'll include an FBI fingerprinting kit for child safety, a YMCA exhibit on the need to be physically active, and exhibits about tobacco and alcohol prevention.
