UC BASEBALL: Seton Hill swept a doubleheader from the University of Charleston Sunday at Appalachian Power Park 7-1 and 8-5, limiting the Golden Eagles to 12 hits in the two games.
UC's Kyle O'Connell and Jim Clarke each had three hits in the doubleheader.

MARSHALL BASEBALL: Marshall center fielder Nate Lape went 4-for-5 with a double and scored three runs to help the Herd to a 7-2 victory and series sweep of Virginia Military in Sunday afternoon's non-conference baseball game in Lexington, Va.
The victory extended the Marshall winning streak to six games and gives the Herd an 8-6 overall record. For VMI (4-12), it was the Keydets' ninth loss in a row.
Marshall right-hander Dan Straily allowed one run, scattered five hits and struck out six in 61/3 innings en route to his second victory of the season.

WVU TRACK: The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced that WVU freshman Marie-Louise Asselin and the distance medley relay team have been named to the women's Division I indoor track and field All-America team.
The WVU team took fourth place with a time of 11:07.64 to set a school record at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. Composing the distance medley relay squad were sophomore April Rotilio (400 meters,- 55.14), junior Karly Hamric (800 meters, 2:10.82), freshman Asselin (1,200 meters, 3:24.76) and freshman Keri Bland (1,600 meters, 4:35.94).
Asselin also took seventh place with a time of 9:14.44 in the 3,000-meter run to add three more points to West Virginia's team score.

WVU BASEBALL: Senior Tyler Kuhn finished with three hits, matched his career-high with two home runs and drove in five runs to lead West Virginia to a 17-1 victory over Iona Sunday in Morgantown, giving the Mountaineers a four-game sweep.
The Mountaineers (17-1) had a season-high 17 hits, including two triples, and collected a season-high 30 total bases.
Junior outfielder Justin Parks finished with three hits, two runs and four RBIs, and junior first baseman Joe Agreste recorded three runs, two hits and had an RBI.

MARSHALL SOFTBALL: Marshall's Samantha Rodriguez hit her fourth home run of the season, but it wasn't enough as No. 13 Houston completed its three-game sweep of Marshall with a 9-1 victory Sunday in Huntington.
Marshall (10-14, 2-3 C-USA) had just two hits.
