Korn moved to safety and out of QB derby
Advertiser

Marshall's quarterback derby apparently has been reduced to three, as Willy Korn practiced Friday with safeties.

True freshman Eddie Sullivan is the No. 2 candidate behind incumbent Brian Anderson, coaches said after Friday's workout. Redshirt freshman A.J. Graham is No. 3 entering today's scrimmage.

Korn is the graduate transfer from Clemson who is a junior by eligibility. He started one game for the Tigers in 2008, in which he suffered an injury.

Offensive coordinators Bill Legg and Tony Petersen said it was a very difficult decision to eliminate Korn. Korn offered to take up a new position immediately upon being informed, coach Doc Holliday said.

Anderson, who started the final game of 2008 and all of 2009, has received most of the first-team snaps in camp.
