Juniors Drea Barklage and Meghan Lewis scored first-half goals, helping the Mountaineers (18-4-1) to the round of 16 for the first time since 2007.
The Mountaineers have won 14 consecutive matches, the second longest streak in the nation behind Stanford, and their 18 wins ties a single-season school record.
West Virginia, which is seeded third, will face No. 2 seed Boston College. Time and location were expected to be announced Sunday night.

WVC FOOTBALL: West Liberty running back Kevon Calhoun and West Virginia Wesleyan quarterback Adam Neugebauer have been selected West Virginia Conference offensive players of the week.
Calhoun, a senior from Rockville, Md., rambled for 258 yards on 22 carries and scored five touchdowns as the Hilltoppers sprinted past Concord 56-33 on Saturday.
Neugebauer, a junior from Pittsburgh, hit on 42-of-53 passes for 401 yards and six touchdowns in a 41-21 victory against Charleston. His six TD passes went to six different receivers, and he was not intercepted as the Bobcats wrapped up a tie for second place in the WVC standings.
Defensive player of the week is Glenville linebacker Tim Daly, a junior from Woodstock, Ga., who played a key role in the Pioneers' 28-24 upset of Shepherd. He had four tackles, including one for loss, and a crucial interception, which ended a Shepherd drive deep in Pioneer territory. He returned it 59 yards to set up a Glenville touchdown for a 14-3 lead.
WVC special teams player of the week is Fairmont State kick returner Matt Wilmer, a sophomore from Keyser, who returned a punt 77 yards for a touchdown in the Falcons' 63-38 victory. On the day, he averaged 36.3 yards on four punt returns.

The Golden Bears will not play again until a Nov. 27 visit to Point Park in Pittsburgh. Concord (0-1) opened the season with a 110-77 loss at Pitt Johnstown on Saturday.

D-II FOOTBALL: Shepherd (9-1) has been selected as the fourth seed in Super Region I and will open the NCAA Division II football playoffs against No. 5 Shaw (9-2) at noon Saturday in Shepherdstown.
The Rams held the region's top spot until a 28-24 upset loss against Glenville State Saturday. This will be Shepherd's sixth postseason appearance.

WVC SOCCER: West Virginia Wesleyan's Toni Suta scored the tying goal to force overtime, and Nicholas Amberman scored the game-winner, giving the Bobcats a 2-1 victory over the University of Charleston in a men's NCAA Division II regional soccer match Sunday in Erie, Pa. TRACK DONATION: Star USA Federal Credit Union plans to present Kanawha County Schools with a $70,000 donation toward resurfacing of the running track at Laidley Field/University of Charleston Stadium. The presentation is set for Friday at the school board office on Elizabeth Street. Laidley Field was recently awarded the state high school track championships through 2014 by the SSAC.
