The Hilltoppers (25-1), who have won 23 straight and are unbeaten in the West Virginia Conference (20-0), received six of the eight first-place votes and earned 198 total points. Bellarmine (Ky.) was second with two first-place votes and 190 points. The University of Charleston (21-5), which has won nine in a row, was No. 25 in the poll. It's the first time since Feb. 4, 2002 that the Golden Eagles have been ranked.
