Tech (20-7) concluded a season sweep of defending NAIA national champion Pikeville last Saturday in Pikeville, Ky. Rahshon Tabb scored 21 points in the Golden Bears' 82-78 victory.
Shawnee State (10-17) has lost two straight and 12 of its last 15 games. The Bears fell 81-70 in overtime to Cumberland at home Saturday.
Tech defeated Shawnee State 76-67 on Jan. 19 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Eddie Hayden posted 25 points for the Golden Bears in the win, while Mark Bryant and Trevor Banks had 20 points apiece for Shawnee State.

WVC BASKETBALL: Five West Virginia Conference men's basketball teams were ranked among the top 10 in Wednesday's Atlantic Region poll. West Liberty, who is the top team in the NCAA Division II coaches poll, held the top spot in the region, while Charleston is third, West Virginia Wesleyan fourth, Alderson-Broaddus seventh and Wheeling Jesuit 10th.
Two WVC women's basketball teams appeared in the Atlantic Region poll - Concord was selected ninth and Glenville State was 10th.
Kaitlin Snyder of Fairmont State and Wesleyan's Lydia Bridenbaugh were named to the Capital One Academic-All American NCAA Division II team. Snyder was selected to the second team, while Bridenbaugh was named to the third team.
