Gettin' physical
Mountaineers, Gonzaga ready for rough battle
PITTSBURGH - If West Virginia's opening game in the NCAA tournament tonight is anything but a rough, physical, no-blood-no-foul kind of event, the Mountaineers are going to be very disappointed.
But so, too, will Gonzaga.
In fact, that was pretty much all either side seemed thrilled to talk about on the eve of the game.

I guess poor little herdwonnone and housefly have been called to do overtime at the drive through window or they would be on here with powerful, strong words designed to make us tremble in our boots...lol Where are you???
Personally, I like it when they post about our guys, it shows their envy is over the top!!! FIVE years in a row for the Mountaineers in the Big Dance and they STILL try to lamely find something to say about our team. Pathetic..but I give them kudos for actually having the guts to post their drivel and then try and stand by it. All you have to do is look at the overall records from the last few years, or as far back as you choose to go, and you can see the VAST difference in the two programs. One is a legitimate NCAA contender and the other is...well it something, but certainly NOT a contender. Can you actually believe that even though they can see the same records that we do and they still want to say bad things???
1) WVU Team Fans. These are people who are knowledgeable about sports and their enjoyment comes from watching their teams compete. They have favorite players and they root for the team to win every chance they get. They love competition and enjoy discussing the strategy used in the previous games. To them it’s all about cheering on the Mountaineers.
2) Bob Huggins Fans. These are people who follow the coach rather than the team and only want to win to add to the coach’s legacy. They follow and believe every word of the coach and are offended if someone questions them. They feel it is their lot in life to defend the honor of the coach regardless how the team performs.
3) Disgruntled Marshall Fans. These are delusional people with deep seeded emotional problems. No one really knows why they come here or why they are bitter. They seem to hate anyone who follows WVU and are only happy if WVU loses.
You have spoken with great wisdom. I have to keep things simple in here because of so many juveniles who post comments so I only listed 3.
I concur with category 4 and would actually place myself in 1 and 4. I have never looked upon you as being “delusional” but rather a well informed sports fan that sees the Big Picture.
It only takes one or two to ruin things for everyone and I must add there are delusional WVU Fans as well.
You and I don’t always agree but I consider you one of the “good guys”.
