Roundup: West Liberty downs Tech in baseball 11-7

WVU Tech fell 11-7 to West Liberty at home Wednesday. Zach Sizemore and Evan Riggins each drove in two runs for Tech.

Sizemore was named the USCAA baseball player of the week for March 13. He had eight hits, including a double and a home run, and 12 RBIs.

The Golden Bears' game against Salem International scheduled for Thursday was postponed because of weather.

  • PREP LACROSSE: Mason Jack scored three goals and had three assists as Capital shut out Herbert Hoover 14-0 Thursday at Schoenbaum Stadium.

    Jacob Stanley added three goals for the Cougars (1-0) while Joe Wright and Jack Dulin had one goal and two assists each.
