Ben Williams and Austin Hensley each had two hits for the Redskins (14-2), with Hensley also picking up a double.
Sardinia also doubled and drove in another run for Independence (10-5).
WAHAMA 12, TRIMBLE 3: Isaac Lee went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for visiting Wahama.

SCOTT TAKES TWO: The Skyhawks took a pair of mercy-rule victories in the Class AA division of the Best of the Best Tournament in Buffalo, defeating Sissonville 10-0 in three innings and Shady Spring 8-0 in six innings.Ally Brown limited the Indians to four hits in the first game and went 2-for-2 with four RBIs. She also went 2-for-4 against Shady as the Skyhawks (6-13) lashed out 18 hits. Jennifer Miller limited the Tigers to one hit in the second game and Kellian Strange went 4-for-4.
