Ian Lough scored Connor Golden in the bottom of the seventh inning on a ground ball up the middle as Charleston Catholic walked away with a 7-6 win over Wahama at Buffalo Saturday in prep baseball.
The game was originally scheduled for Appalachian Power Park, but was moved to Buffalo because of rain.
Golden had three hits including two doubles for the Irish (18-4) while Rocco Wilcox notched a pair of hits and RBIs.
Wyatt Zuspan was 2-for-3 with a triple and a pair of runs batted in for the White Falcons (13-11).
Logan Wriston went 3-for-4 with two home runs, including a grand slam, a double and seven total RBIs for Woodrow Wilson (6-8).
Clayton Anderson and Austin Griffith each drove in two runs apiece for the Patriots. Jacob Williams had an RBI for Capital.
Gabriel Varney and Cody McCloud each knocked in three runs for the Panthers. Donald Picklesimer had three RBIs for Tolsia.
