The jail's booking office said those arrested were senior running back Martin Ward, sophomore defensive back Phillip Warren, freshman cornerback Corie Wilson and freshman linebacker Stefone Grace.
Ward is charged with disorderly conduct. Warren is charged with battery on police, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. Wilson is charged with obstructing an officer and fleeing on foot, while Grace is charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.
The jail said the players were being held Sunday pending arraignment and didn't indicate whether the players had attorneys.
Marshall coach Doc Holliday issued a statement saying the program is aware of the situation and still gathering facts. Holliday says once that process is complete, he will handle the matter appropriately.
Details of the arrests weren't immediately available. Campus police declined to answer questions and a call to the Huntington police department wasn't immediately answered.
Ward carried the ball four times for 20 yards last season. Warren made one start and had 26 tackles and a forced fumble.
