Delmonico scored in the fifth on a double by Kevan Smith of Kannapolis and again in the seventh on a single from Hickory's Hanser Alberto. The North got an insurance run in the eighth, when Hagerstown's Caleb Ramsey crossed the plate on an RBI single from Mark Haddow of Kannapolis.
The Southern Division scored both of its runs in the bottom of the ninth. Charleston's Francisco Arcia drove in his RiverDogs teammate Tyler Austin and Arcia scored on a groundout by Asheville's Harold Riggins.
Garin Cecchini of Greenville moved to third on Riggins' grounder, but was left stranded when Savannah's Travis Taijeron struck out to end the game.
Lakewood's Colin Kleven picked up the win, allowing two hits in the fourth inning. Aaron Barrett of Hagerstown earned the save, giving up two runs on two hits and striking out two in the ninth.
Rome's David Filak took the loss, allowing one run on one hit. Starter Michael Foltynewicz of Lexington pitched two scoreless innings and struck out four.
