UC's Roberts wins WVC weekly offensive honor

University of Charleston senior running back Jordan Roberts has been named the season's first West Virginia Conference offensive player of the week after his record-setting performance in the Golden Eagles' season-opening win over Shaw.

 

Roberts set a school record by rushing for 238 yards on 23 carries in UC's 44-36 win. He also caught two passes for 27 yards and returned a kick for 28 yards.
