Dunbar's Rowley wins Gold Mine Week 2
Advertiser

Ron Rowley of Dunbar was the winner of the Gazette's Gridiron Gold Mine contest for Week 2.

Rowley's entry was one of nine that correctly picked 14 of the 15 possible games. Of the nine, his tiebreaker prediction of 66 total points in the Riverside-South Charleston game was the closest without going over the actual total of 89 points scored between the Warriors and Black Eagles.

Rowley wins $75 for the week and is earns a spot in the season-ending Gold Mine championship, where the prize for winning is $500.
