Alex Fuselier hit his first professional home run to tie the game in the fifth inning, and pinch-runner Francisco Aponte scored the go-ahead run in the sixth for the Power on a two-out double by Dan Gamache. Chris Lashmet followed with a single to bring home Gamache and extend West Virginia's lead to 3-1.

Eric Avila hit a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth to cap the scoring.

Eric Wooten (2-3) took the loss for Delmarva.

West Virginia finished the season with a 61-79 record but went 38-32 in the second half, finishing in a tie for second place with Hickory, just three games behind Hagerstown.
