Tinsley named golf coach at WVU Tech

Scott Tinsley, the former head coach of the WVU Tech football program, was named the head golf coach at the school Tuesday.

Tinsley, a former Nitro High School football coach who compiled a 51-20 record and was the offensive coordinator on the 1998 state championship team, led the Golden Bears the past four seasons until Tech decided to drop the football program last November.
