Bevin ended a 333-minute scoreless drought for WVU with a goal in the fourth minute of play against Oakland, then assisted on the final goal of the match.

For more information, call (304) 744-4423.nnMU SPORTS: For the first time since 1983, the Marshall men's golf team finished in the top two in the Marshall Invitational, tying for second place as the 43rd annual event wrapped up Tuesday at Guyan Golf & Country Club in Huntington.
The Thundering Herd shot 289 for a 54-hole score of 853 (1 over par). Marshall finished tied with Ohio State, the two-time defending champion of the invitational. Virginia Tech won the title with a 16-under-par 836.
Marshall was led by senior Nathan Kerns, who shot a 2-under-par 69 Tuesday to finish in second place. The Ironton native was one stroke short of tying and forcing a playoff with the eventual champion, Korey Ward of Xavier (9-under 205).
The Marshall baseball team will host two camps this weekend at Linda K. Epling Stadium in Beckley. A showcase camp will be held Saturday, giving high school players a chance to be instructed and evaluated by the Herd coaching staff. A youth camp will be held Sunday, in which players will be put through a workout similar to what the Thundering Herd baseball players experience in a season.
