Sissonville's Murray commits to UC soccer
Advertiser

Lydia Murray, a three-time first-team all-state girls soccer player from Sissonville, has decided to play at the University of Charleston.

Murray, a forward who is 10 goals shy of the Kanawha Valley career record of 130, has helped make the Indians a force in Class AA-A, as they've gone 64-13-4 in her four seasons. Sissonville lost in the state finals last year.

The Indians are currently 13-2 and Murray has 23 goals. She scored 35 as a junior, 29 as a sophomore and 33 as a freshman.
