Charleston man wins Gold Mine Week 6

Jeff Blankenship of Charleston was the winner of the Gazette's Gridiron Gold Mine prediction contest for Week 6.

Blankenship's entry was one of 13 that correctly picked 13 of the 15 possible games. In the tiebreaker game between the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets, Blankenship correctly guessed a total of 34 points scored.

For winning, Blankenship will be awarded $75 and earns a spot in the season-ending Gold Mine championship, where the prize is $500.
