WVU women's Bussie down with knee injury
Advertiser

West Virginia women's basketball center Asya Bussie will miss the entire 2012-13 season after suffering a knee injury during a Thursday practice.

"Knowing the type of person Asya is, there is no doubt in my mind she will turn this into a positive and come back bigger and stronger," WVU coach Mike Carey said in a university release.

Bussie, a 6-foot-4 senior from Randallstown, Md., was a first-team All-Big East co-captain as a junior and became the 28th player in program history to score 1,000 career points and the 15th to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career.
