Quarterback Toby Show went 6 of 17 for 36 yards passing for the Generals (2-5) and was sacked nine times. Winfield gained just 24 total yards in the game.

Gaydosz rushed for six touchdowns last week in Cabell Midland's 70-33 win over Woodrow Wilson.

 

  • BRAXTON 26, RAVENS-WOOD 23: Braxton County drove 85 yards in 15 plays and scored on the game's final play to win in Ravenswood. Jacob Yanero's 9-yard touchdown pass to Derek Barnette completed the game-winning drive.

    Yanero, who rushed 21 times for 231 yards, scored on runs of 68 and 80 yards and completed 5 of 8 passes for 91 yards and two TDs for the Eagles (4-3).

    Ravenswood (2-4) trailed 20-13 at halftime but tied the game at 20 on Devon Crews' 5-yard TD run in the third quarter and took the lead on Nathan Cunningham's 42-yard field goal in the final period.

    Ravenswood's Rhys Jelich carried 15 times for 73 yards, Crews added 62 yards on 16 carries and Heath Burgess completed 8 of 18 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown.

     

  • CLAY 35, MIDLAND TRAIL 7: Clay County scored the game's first 29 points and carried a shutout into the fourth quarter in defeating visiting Midland Trail.

    Clay's Jordan Lucas scored on runs of 33 and 3 yards, and Tyler Stewart teamed up with Jimmy Brogan on a 90-yard TD pass.

    The Panthers improved to 2-4, and the Patriots dropped to 4-3.

     

  • VALLEY 30, PENDLETON 12: Cody Winter ran for a pair of touchdowns and caught one as Class A No. 3 Valley downed Pendleton County.

    Winter carried the ball 18 times for 187 yards for the Greyhounds (6-0), while catching one pass for 46 yards. Quarterback Raeshawn Breckenridge went 3 for 4 for 107 yards including a touchdown strike to Winter.

    Logan Raines had 17 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown for Pendleton County (3-4).

     

  • PARKERSBURG SOUTH 28, PARKERSBURG 18:  Parkersburg South came back from a 10-point first-quarter deficit to defeat its cross-town rival and improve to 4-3.

    The Big Reds (4-3) opened the game with a short touchdown run from Matt Santer and a field goal by Cody Roney, but South answered in the second quarter with a 1-yard Tyler Bolen touchdown.

    The Patriots scored the next 14 points to take a 21-10 lead in the third quarter and never looked back.

    South running back Jordan Quiocho led all rushers with 161 yards on 13 carries, and Parkersburg's Adam Lindamood gained 100 yards on the ground. South's Logan Cox intercepted two passes.
