Quarterback Toby Show went 6 of 17 for 36 yards passing for the Generals (2-5) and was sacked nine times. Winfield gained just 24 total yards in the game.
Gaydosz rushed for six touchdowns last week in Cabell Midland's 70-33 win over Woodrow Wilson.
BRAXTON 26, RAVENS-WOOD 23: Braxton County drove 85 yards in 15 plays and scored on the game's final play to win in Ravenswood. Jacob Yanero's 9-yard touchdown pass to Derek Barnette completed the game-winning drive.
Yanero, who rushed 21 times for 231 yards, scored on runs of 68 and 80 yards and completed 5 of 8 passes for 91 yards and two TDs for the Eagles (4-3).
Ravenswood (2-4) trailed 20-13 at halftime but tied the game at 20 on Devon Crews' 5-yard TD run in the third quarter and took the lead on Nathan Cunningham's 42-yard field goal in the final period.
Ravenswood's Rhys Jelich carried 15 times for 73 yards, Crews added 62 yards on 16 carries and Heath Burgess completed 8 of 18 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown.
CLAY 35, MIDLAND TRAIL 7: Clay County scored the game's first 29 points and carried a shutout into the fourth quarter in defeating visiting Midland Trail.
Clay's Jordan Lucas scored on runs of 33 and 3 yards, and Tyler Stewart teamed up with Jimmy Brogan on a 90-yard TD pass.
The Panthers improved to 2-4, and the Patriots dropped to 4-3.
VALLEY 30, PENDLETON 12: Cody Winter ran for a pair of touchdowns and caught one as Class A No. 3 Valley downed Pendleton County.
Winter carried the ball 18 times for 187 yards for the Greyhounds (6-0), while catching one pass for 46 yards. Quarterback Raeshawn Breckenridge went 3 for 4 for 107 yards including a touchdown strike to Winter.
Logan Raines had 17 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown for Pendleton County (3-4).
PARKERSBURG SOUTH 28, PARKERSBURG 18: Parkersburg South came back from a 10-point first-quarter deficit to defeat its cross-town rival and improve to 4-3.
The Big Reds (4-3) opened the game with a short touchdown run from Matt Santer and a field goal by Cody Roney, but South answered in the second quarter with a 1-yard Tyler Bolen touchdown.
The Patriots scored the next 14 points to take a 21-10 lead in the third quarter and never looked back.
South running back Jordan Quiocho led all rushers with 161 yards on 13 carries, and Parkersburg's Adam Lindamood gained 100 yards on the ground. South's Logan Cox intercepted two passes.

Grier, who completed 12 of 14 passes for 215 yards with no interceptions, threw two scoring passes to Kevin Forrest and one each to Marquel Hampton and Qua Davis. Grier opened the scoring with a 7-yard run.
Trevond Reese caught three passes for 77 yards, and Forrest added two catches for 40 yards. The Black Eagles (4-3) also picked up 174 rushing yards on 17 carries.
For Lincoln County (0-6), Grant Bates completed 12 of 32 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.
WEBSTER COUNTY 34, POCA 24: Down by two points at halftime, Webster County rallied for 20 points in the third quarter to overtake visiting Poca.
With the Dots (2-5) leading 16-14 at halftime, Joe Collins scored on a 9-yard run to give Webster County (4-3) the lead. Caleb Hardway then scored on a 16-yard run, and Collins broke loose for a 58-yard TD, boosting the lead to 34-16.
Poca's Jacob Payne, who scored the Dots' first two TDs on short runs, completed the scoring with a 10-yard pass to Andrew Gibson with 44 seconds left.
Payne completed 15 of 28 passes for 201 yards with one interception and one touchdown. The Dots' T.T. Loudin rushed 21 times for 81 yards.
Webster's Collins picked up 78 yards on seven carries.
PRINCETON 44, ST. ALBANS 22: Princeton (1-6) snapped a six-game losing streak and totaled 416 yards of offense in defeating visiting St. Albans (0-7).
The Tigers' Tahj Sho-Johnson scored a pair of first-quarter touchdowns, and Jay Palmer found Zen Clements through the air for a 44-yard score to give Princeton a 21-0 lead by the end of the period.
That lead grew to 31-0 by halftime on a 42-yard fumble return by Princeton's Justice Shafer and a 23-yard Austin Smith field goal.
The Red Dragons got on the board in the third quarter when quarterback Noah Reed hit Kyle Boles for a 63-yard touchdown.
Reed threw another TD pass in the fourth quarter, hooking up with Terrel Lovejoy for a 43-yarder to cut the Princeton lead to 38-14, but the Tigers' Lamont Lee ended any hopes of a St. Albans comeback by returning the ensuring kickoff 85 yards for a TD.
MIDLAND 63, WINFIELD 0: David Gaydosz rushed for 105 yards and scored six touchdowns against his former team as Class AAA No. 1 Cabell Midland cruised to a home win over Winfield.
Gaydosz carried 18 times and scored in every quarter for the Knights. Lowell Farley rushed for 113 yards and went over the 1,000-yard mark on the season with a 70-yard touchdown run in the second quarter for Cabell Midland (7-0).
Each of Cabell Midland's first three scoring drives came after Winfield fumbles with Gaydosz carrying the ball into the end zone on each to give the Knights a 21-0 lead after one quarter.
