John Carbone paced the Charleston effort with a three-round total of 225, just five shots off the championship lead, for a fourth place individual finish. Jamin Smith was eighth for UC after a final round 79 brought his tournament total to 229.
UC finished 16 shots off victorious Concord and 14 shots ahead of third-place Bluefield State.

100th TOURNEY DINNER: The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission is now selling tickets to the 100th Celebration Dinner on March 12 in conjunction with the boys basketball tournament in Charleston.
Individual tickets are $35 each, while a reserved table for 10 is $400.
Those that purchase tickets will receive a complementary pictorial book highlighting the last 100 years of high school boys basketball in the state.

Keane helped the Mountaineers remain in first place in the Big 12 standings following a 1-1 draw with 20th-ranked Baylor on Oct. 12. She tied her career high with eight saves, where she faced 21 shots and 10 corner kicks.
An Oktoberfest celebration will be held at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium on Thursday at 7 p.m. when the 16th-ranked West Virginia women's soccer team plays host to Oklahoma in a Big 12 conference match.As part of the popular Oktoberfest festival, the game will feature an evening full of American and German food.
nnMU SOFTBALL: Marshall softball will begin offering hitting and pitching instructional clinics on Mondays and Tuesdays this fall and winter.
The clinics will be conducted by the Thundering Herd's assistant coaches. Instruction begins on Oct. 22 and will run through the end of January. The cost is $40 per session. To register, call (304) 696-3979.
nnWVC AWARD: West Virginia State's Andreea Slusarciuc has been named the West Virginia Conference women's tennis player of the week.
Slusarciuc led the Yellow Jackets to a 5-0 week, including a 4-0 effort in conference play. She went 5-0 at the No. 2 singles spot for State and teamed up with Brittany Franco to record a 5-0 mark at the No. 1 doubles position.
