West Virginia's freefall down the national rankings continued Sunday after the Mountaineers' second straight lopsided loss.

WVU, fifth in The Associated Press poll two weeks ago  and 17th last week, is No. 25 this week following a 55-14 loss to Kansas State Saturday night. The Mountaineers are No. 22 in the USA Today coaches poll.
