UC ranked No. 25 in AFCA Div. II poll

Following Saturday's victory at West Liberty, the University of Charleston has popped up in the American Football Coaches Association Division II coaches poll.

Hansford man wins weekly Gold Mine

Gary Mullins of Hansford is the winner of the Gazette's Gridiron Gold Mine contest for Week 9.

Mullins' entry was the only one to correctly predict the winner in 13 of 15 possible games this week.

For winning, Mullins will be awarded $75 and is entered in to the season-ending Gold Mine championship.
