WVU's Smith one of 10 Unitas Award finalists

West Virginia senior quarterback Geno Smith has been named one of 10 finalists for the 2012 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

The Golden Arm Award is presented annually by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation and Transamerica. The other nine finalists are Matt Barkley (Southern California), Collin Klein (Kansas State), E.J. Manuel (Florida State), A.J. McCarron (Alabama),  Aaron Murray (Georgia), Denard Robinson (Michigan), Tyler Tettleton (Ohio), Tyler Wilson (Arkansas) and Landry Jones (Oklahoma).

To be eligible for the award. a player must be completing his college eligibility or be a fourth-year junior.
