Frosh receiver Copeland leaves Mountaineers

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Freshman wide receiver Travares Copeland has left the West Virginia University football program for personal reasons, according to a release from the school.

West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen made the announcement Thursday. He declined further comment.

Copeland played in three games for West Virginia this season, starting in one. He had 10 catches for 55 yards.
