CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Devin Williams has signed to play basketball at West Virginia University for the 2013-14 academic school year, according to Mountaineers coach Bob Huggins.
Williams, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward from Cincinnati who attends Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fla., is ranked as the No. 11 center by Rivals, the No. 21 power forward by Scout and No. 22 among power forwards by ESPN in this year's class.
Williams attended Withrow High School in Cincinnati last season and averaged 15.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists as junior. As a sophomore, he averaged 13.0 points and 10.6 rebounds.
