SUMMERS 65, BLUEFIELD 53: Brandy Morrison scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Summers County to the win at Bluefield. Avery Pivont had 11 points for the Bobcats while Tyra Wynes scored eight points to go with 11 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals. For Bluefield, Destiny Sims scored a team-high 19 points and Dazia Edwards scored 15.
NICHOLAS 56, BYRD 34: Shaelyn Shafer's double-double set the pace for Nicholas County's in its home win against Robert C. Byrd. Shafer finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks to lead Nicholas County (2-0). Mykenzie Martin led the Grizzlies with 22 points. For Byrd (1-1), Sarah Barksdale scored 10 points.
