Jessi Cowden made 7 of 11 shots from deep en route to a game-best 23 points for UC (3-2). Chrissy Keir added 14 points while LeAnne Ross had 13 and Ashley Milligan scored 10.
Kayla Jenerette paced Cedarville (6-1) with 14 points and Raegan Ryan contributed 10.

UC SOCCER: The University of Charleston women's soccer team was named one of the recipients of the 2011-12 NSCAA Team Academic Award for having a team grade point average above 3.0. It's the sixth consecutive season the Golden Eagles, this season's West Virginia Conference runners-up, have earned the honor. The team recorded a GPA of 3.29 on a 4.0 scale.
