CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Marshall center Robert Goff has been suspended for one game by Conference USA for his Flagrant 2 foul in the Thundering Herd's loss Wednesday to West Virginia.

C-USA rules dictate that any player who commits a Flagrant 2 foul must sit out one game.

The 6-foot-9 Goff kicked WVU guard Juwan Staten late in Wednesday's game, touching off a minor fracas. He was ejected, teammate Nigel Spikes fouled out on a technical foul, and WVU had four players ejected for leaving the bench.

Goff will sit out Marshall's 7 p.m. home game on Saturday against Coppin State.
