State (4-5 overall, 2-2 West Virginia Conference), which has lost two in a row and three of four, will travel to Davis & Elkins for a 4 p.m. tip-off with a chance to even its record before a three-week layoff.
Like State, Tech also finds itself skidding having lost three in a row and five of six. Still, the Golden Bears sit at 8-7 and will host Concord at 2 p.m. with a chance to clinch a winning record for the first semester.
Tech will travel to Shawnee State on Monday before its own break of three weeks and two days.
Charleston is just hoping to keep rolling after winning three in a row. UC (5-1, 2-1 WVC) has the most work left to do, beginning with a home date against Fairmont State (4-2, 2-1) today at 6 p.m.
The Golden Eagles will host Davis & Elkins on Monday before finishing the first semester at Urbana, Ohio, on Wednesday.

nnWVU SOCCER: West Virginia University women's soccer player Bri Rodriguez has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America College Scholar All-America squad.
Rodriguez, who was also named to the All-Big 12 first team and Academic All-Big 12 first team, was named to the second team of the NSCAA's academic team. She has been invited to attend the All-America luncheon at the NSCAA Convention on Jan. 19 in Indianapolis, and is the eighth different WVU women's soccer player to earn NSCAA Scholar All-America honors.
nnMU SWIM: Marshall announced it will add a meet to its swimming and diving schedule when the Herd travels to Indianapolis on Jan. 19 for a quad meet against Saint Louis, Western Illinois and host IUPUI.
It will be the first time Marshall has ever competed against Saint Louis or Western Illinois. The Herd is 2-1 so far this season in dual meets.
