CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Three-star running back Jojo Kemp of Deland (Fla.) High School committed to the University of Kentucky on Friday night, picking the Wildcats over West Virginia, South Florida, and Pittsburgh.

Kemp, listed as the No. 10 all-purpose running back nationally and the No. 64 prospect in the state of Florida, rushed for 1,469 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior season.

He originally committed to South Florida in June but backed off that in October, making a visit to WVU in the process. Kemp also had 19 other Division I offers.

Kemp is the second three-star back the Mountaineers have missed out on this week. Zaire Williams originally committed to West Virginia, but switched to Temple on Wednesday.
