MU WOMEN: The Alabama-Birmingham women's basketball team forced 20 Marshall turnovers compared to five Thundering Herd assists as the Blazers earned a 61-43 win at home. Erica Woods was the only player in double figures for the Herd (8-16 overall, 2-9 Conference USA) with 11 points.
Ashley Grimes led all scorers with 19 points for the Blazers (15-9, 6-5) while Karisma Chapman added 12 points and Kelsie Weynand 11.
